Your tool answers

The Restart Card, the worksheets and the 30-Day Build save what you type in your browser's local storage on your device. We do not send those answers to a server, and we do not include them in analytics. Clearing your browser data, or using Reset in a tool, removes them. If you export, copy or print a card, you decide where it goes.

Email

If you join Restart Notes or write to us, we receive the email address and message you send, and use them only to send you what you asked for or to reply.

Free sample

To read the free sample, you give us your email address. We use it to open the sample in your browser and to send you one email with a link back to it. We add you to Restart Notes only if you tick that box. Your place in the sample and your reading settings stay in your browser.

Buying a book

Books are sold through Gumroad or Amazon. That store collects your payment and delivery details and processes them under its own privacy policy, for example the Gumroad privacy policy. This site never receives your card details. A store may share your name and email address with the seller, as its own policy describes.

Analytics

The site may use a privacy-friendly analytics service to count page visits and a small set of events, such as a click on a book link or a tool being opened. These events never contain text you typed into a tool; the site filters them before sending. The recommended service sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from Restart Notes at any time and ask us to delete the details you sent us.
